- After May 1, tuition balance is due within 5 business days of receiving an invoice.
- Any balance remaining on tuition must be paid before the start of the program.

- There are no refunds for choosing to withdraw from the program after May 1.
- A late fee of $250 will be applied for any health form submissions received after May 1. Timely health form submissions are essential to ensure we have time to learn about the student before their arrival.
- We recommend that families purchase an insurance policy that can cover losses as a result of your child not being able to participate in the programs. One example of a policy you might consider is Travelex Insurance. Please note that there are other companies offering similar plans and you should check out all of the various options before picking your plan.
Financial Aid
The Putney School Summer Arts offers need based financial aid to families that qualify, in order to make our programs a possibility for more students. In order to be considered for financial aid, a student must first apply to the program and be accepted. We award aid whenever possible, giving priority to students who are new to the programs. Families or organizations interested in helping to sponsor a student financially should contact Dan Folgar, Director of Summer Programs.
- In the application, please check the “We wish to apply for financial aid” box on the final page of the form.
- We will send a link for families to submit a financial aid application through Clarity once an application is completed and processed. A fee may be assessed during this process through the app, but may be waived based on the information provided in your Financial Aid application. Parents will need to upload their most recent Federal Tax return with their application. If parents are not filing jointly, each parent completes and submits a separate form.
- All Financial Aid applications are due by March 15. Award decisions will be communicated to families after April 1.
- Families awarded financial aid who elect not to enroll in the program after receiving notice of financial aid award are entitled to a refund of tuition and deposit paid minus $100, provided The Putney School Summer Arts receives written notice of this decision by May 1.
