Who is eligible

Our program is for high school students, rising freshmen to rising seniors. You are eligible if you are currently in 8th, 9th, 10th, or 11th grade. Students who are homeschooled or in ungraded programs are welcome. You can expect summer students to be ages 14 to 17. You must also, through your application, show us that you are excited about spending three or six weeks focused on the arts, farm or ESOL, and that you expect to work hard.

Apply early

Applications are processed in the order we receive them. We must have a complete application before we consider you for acceptance. We do not save a place for you in the program or in workshops until we have received all parts of your application. Please read workshop descriptions carefully for any additional required materials. Classes vary in size, and many workshops fill quickly. Once workshops are filled, we maintain a waiting list from which accepted students are enrolled. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop or offer new workshop choices because of changes in enrollment.
