Igor Gorn

Activities & Transportation Coordinator

My name is Igor Gorn. I was born in Semey, Kazakhstan. I am a senior student at Pittsburg State University, Kansas, graduating in July 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in International Teaching. At Pitt State, I have served as President of International Students Association where I planned and organized various cultural events and activities. I speak 4 languages: Russian, English, Kazakh, and Turkish. Learning and teaching have always been a great interest for me. I was inspired to be a teacher by my high school English teacher from Turkey. Therefore, I decided to pursue my career in teaching English as a Second Language. Working in a diverse community is what brings me knowledge and joy!
